Did you know that PayHere Premium merchants can now enjoy SMS notifications?  That’s right. You can activate SMS alerts for the Payment Notifications, Service Status Notifications and Chargeback Notifications. 

Now, you don’t have to rely only on email notifications. If you want to refer to further details regarding the SMS notification, you can either check your email notification or log in to your PayHere dashboard and go to the payments tab for further elaborations.

Who’s phone number should you add?

Let’s say you have a coffee shop that deals with orders and they need updates on the paid orders. You can add the phone number which is used at the coffee shop and let them directly handle the paid orders. You can also use the Teams feature in the PayHere dashboard to give access to your coffee shop staff to view payment details by adding a customer service team member or a finance team member.

Here’s how to add phone numbers to receive SMS notifications:

1. Log in to your PayHere account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Visit the Notification Settings section
4. Click on SMS Notifications
5. Set phone numbers separately for Payment Notifications, Service Status Notifications and Chargeback Notifications.
